Do you like to be out and about? Then you will experience a new adventure every day with us in Hippach and in the whole Zillertal. Conveniently, the bus stop is located directly in front of the Kirchbichlhof. So your car is on vacation and you can reach the most beautiful starting points for your hikes, excursions or bike tours in the Zillertal in a very relaxed way.
Environmentally conscious with a wonderful view, you can also travel by train. We at the Kichbichlhof are happy to inform you and always have a tip for your summer day in Hippach.
Hiking in the Zillertal
Discover a variety of routes
The hiking trail network in the Zillertal covers 1,400 kilometers. Of course, you don't have to hike all of them, but you should plan enough time for enjoyable hikes or mountain tours.
Hiking routes in various degrees of difficulty, alpine huts, turquoise mountain lakes: If you want to experience all this without effort, then there are numerous mountain railroads, such as those to the Spieljoch, Gerlosstein, Penken, Ahorn, Eggalm, as well as the railroad to the Hintertux glacier.
Climbing is another great way to test your limits. Info on climbing schools, bouldering hall or via ferrata can be found here.

The mountain railroads also offer you the possibility to transport your mountain bike or e-bike free of charge. Speaking of cycling: The Zillertal is a real insider tip for all those who like to be on the move on two wheels. 1,300 kilometers of mountain trails with single trails and bike & hike routes await you.
Free recreational fun
As a guest at the Kirchbichlhof
As a guest of our hotel you can use the outdoor pools in Hippach and Mayrhofen, as well as the tennis courts for free. If you want to experience happiness on earth on the back of a horse, you can do so at Martina's riding stable.
The "Ponygang" is looking forward to your visit. You are welcome to celebrate your children's birthday with the horses - the girls and boys will never forget it! The pony farm "PonyABC" is located right next to our Kirchbichlhof in Hippach.

Summer in the Zillertal is especially worth experiencing for families. Numerous excursion destinations for young and old offer variety and ensure fun in the healthy nature. The Arena Coaster summer toboggan run in Zell am Ziller promises a fast ride.
No less entertaining is a visit to the adventure playground Fichtenschloss including Fichtensee in the Zillertal Arena, as well as excursions to the Eggalm, the adventure mountain Spieljoch, Penken or Ahorn. Not to forget a visit to the Hintertux glacier. Or who can tell at home that they had a snowball fight in summer?
