The Kirchbichlhof is located between the major ski areas of Mayrhofen (Penken & Ahorn) and Zell am Ziller (Zillertal Arena & Gerlosstein). The bus stops in both directions are right by the hotel entrance. The travel time to Mayrhofen or Zell is 6 to 8 minutes. The impressive Hintertux Glacier with its long natural snow slopes is about 24 km away. Here it goes up to 3,250 meters! As guests of our ski hotel in Hippach, the ski room with ski boot dryer is at your free disposal.

Skiing & Snowboarding: The Zillertal Arena ski area and the Mayrhofen ski area (Ski Zillertal 3000) are easily accessible by free ski bus in just a few minutes. The Hintertux Glacier is the only ski area in Austria that offers skiing pleasure 365 days a year.

Other attractive ski areas in the Zillertal and also only a few hip swings away from the Kirchbichlhof are the ski areas Kaltenbach (Hochzillertal/Hochfügen) with 86 km of slopes and various ski routes, as well as Gerlos and Gerlosstein, Spieljoch in Fügen or the Eggalmbahn, which takes you up to the ski area Zillertal 3000. The ski area Hochfügen/Hochzillertal is incidentally an insider tip for night skiers: The illuminated slopes are illuminated by moonlight and floodlights a real fun for all those for whom the day on the slopes was too short.
